Expert Air Conditioner Cleaning in Perth
We do air conditioner cleaning across Perth, so your system blows fresher air and runs at peak efficiency again. That’s good for your comfort, your health and your power bill.

Why clean your air conditioner?
Over time, dust, mould and other grime build up on the coil and fan, and the system blows some of it into the room every time it runs. Regular cleaning gets rid of it, so your home or workplace has cleaner, healthier air.
Our cleaning covers:

What a regular deep clean does for you
Better airflow and efficiency
A clean unit runs cooler and draws less power, which shows up as lower bills, better cooling and more years out of the equipment.
Better health, better air
Cleaning reduces the allergens and bacteria that can lead to breathing problems, which matters most for people with asthma or allergies.
Fewer costly repairs
Regular cleaning keeps the fan, coil and drain in good order, so small problems don’t grow into expensive repairs and the system keeps going for longer.

What people ask about air conditioner cleaning
Filters, mould, power bills and doing it yourself: here’s what we tell Perth homes and workplaces.
How often should an air conditioner be cleaned?
Clean or rinse the filters every month or two in heavy use, and have the system deep cleaned once a year, ideally before summer. Homes with pets, dusty areas, coastal suburbs and commercial premises benefit from a deep clean every six months.
What does a deep clean involve?
A detailed inspection and cleaning of the parts you cannot reach with a filter rinse: the indoor coil, the fan barrel, the drain tray and drain line, the louvres and casing, and the outdoor coil. For ducted systems that includes the return air filter and indoor unit. Everything is cleaned with products that are safe for the equipment.
Is mould in an air conditioner a health problem?
It can be. Mould and bacteria growing on a damp coil or fan are blown into the room every time the system runs, which aggravates allergies and asthma and is a common cause of a musty smell when the unit starts. Black spots on the louvres or inside the casing are the usual sign. Cleaning removes the growth and the smell with it.
Will cleaning lower my power bill?
Yes. Dust on the coils and a clogged filter force the system to run longer to reach the same temperature. A clean system moves more air, cools faster and uses less electricity, and it lasts longer because the fan motor and compressor are not working as hard.
Do you clean ducted, cassette and evaporative systems?
Yes. We clean ducted systems, ceiling cassettes, wall splits and evaporative coolers, in homes and commercial premises across Perth. Tell us the type of system when you book.
Can I clean the air conditioner myself?
The filters, yes. Slide them out, rinse them in lukewarm water, let them dry fully and refit them. The coil, fan barrel and drain need the unit opened and cleaned with the right products, and a wrong move can damage the fins or the electronics, so leave those to a technician.
