AirTouch 5 smart controller
AirTouch 5 Controller Upgrades for Existing Ducted Systems
Keep the system. Upgrade the brain. Our Perth technicians fit AirTouch 5 to the ducted air conditioner you already have, so you can control each room from the wall, your phone or your voice.

Same system. Smarter home.
Plenty of Perth homes have a ducted system that still runs well but is stuck with a basic controller. Changing the controls is the quickest and least costly way to modernise how it works.
Save energy, save money
Close off the zones nobody is using and the system only works on the rooms you’re in, so running costs drop straight away.
More convenience
Run one or several systems from a single screen or the app, and keep an eye on conditions at home wherever you are.
Better comfort for everyone
Each person sets the temperature they like in their own room, and can change it by app or by voice.
Meet AirTouch 5.
Watch the intelligent temperature sensors and zoning hold each room at its own setting.
Every part of it, up close.

Cool the house down before you get home.
- Voice control
Works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Home.

Add security and lighting control through AirTouch Home.
- Privacy cover
The camera is covered when you want it to be.
- Regular updates
Features keep improving over time.
Control. From anywhere.

It knows when you’ve left.
The system turns itself off when the last person leaves and back on as you head home, so you never pay to cool or heat an empty house.
A heads-up before it gets uncomfortable.
A notification on your phone if the house is drifting too hot or cold while you’re out, so you can fix it before you walk in.
See where the power goes.
Usage insights show when the system ran more than it needed to, and which rooms you use the most.
Set it once. Enjoy it daily.
A weekly program set day by day, quick timers, and saved favourites like “Summer nights” or “Working from home” that start with one tap.

More than a controller.
Under the glass is Google-certified Android. That means the screen running your air conditioning can do plenty more today, and more again as your home gets smarter.

Questions about upgrading to AirTouch 5
The things Perth homeowners usually want to know before we change the controls on their ducted system.
Can AirTouch 5 be added to my existing ducted system?
In most cases, yes. AirTouch 5 works with ducted reverse cycle systems from most major brands, and your indoor unit, outdoor unit and ductwork all stay put. Only the controls change. When you request a quote, tell us the brand, model and age of your system and which controller it has now, and we’ll confirm it’s compatible before anything is booked.
Do I need new zone motors or ductwork?
In most homes, no. AirTouch takes over the control side of the system and drives the zone dampers you already have. If there’s no zoning, or the dampers are worn out, we say so in the quote and price adding or replacing them as an option, so nothing catches you out on the day.
Can I run two air conditioners from one console?
Yes. One AirTouch 5 console, plus the app, can run two systems, say upstairs and downstairs, with up to 16 zones between them. Each zone gets its own airflow setting in 5% steps, and optional wireless temperature sensors let each room hold the temperature you set for it.
Does it work with Google Assistant, Alexa and Apple Home?
Yes. The AirTouch app links to Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Home for voice control, and it works from anywhere once the console is on your home WiFi.
How long does the upgrade take, and who installs it?
Our licensed technicians do the install. They put in the console, connect the zone control and test every zone before handing the system back to you. Since nothing but the controls changes, it’s a far quicker and less disruptive job than replacing a system. We confirm the time on the quote, based on how many zones you have and whether sensors are included.
What does an AirTouch 5 upgrade cost?
That depends on the number of zones, whether you want room sensors, and whether the console will run one system or two. You get a fixed written quote before any work is booked, so send us your details and we'll price it for your home.
